It is located in the village of Voll in the Måndalen valley along the Romsdalsfjorden. The church is part of the Voll parish in the Indre Romsdal deanery in the Diocese of Møre. The white wooden church was built in 1896 by the architect Gabriel Smith.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Voll kyrkje, Måndalen )〕 The church was built in 1896 to replace an older church dating back to 1674 on the same site. The present church is the largest in Rauma, seating about 290 people.
